I love the contrast of brick walls and soft interior.

Having e.g. just white interior, might make a room look rather feminine or even too hospital-like. Brick walls reduce the femininity and make a room also look more “stylish”

Pillow Fight!

I think that pillows are a great way of adding highlights in your bedroom or living room.

(love the wall paint btw!!)

Oh so white…

I like white in bedrooms. In my opinion, white stands for cleanness and calmness. Both are supporting factors for my sleep. I generally like white because it makes rooms look organized and clean. However, also watch out not to put too much white in your rooms. At least add one other color, even it is just a light pink or some (not white) wooden elements.

Closet Chaos

“My room was clean. But then I had to decide what to wear.”

I definitely have a way too small closet.

Due to moving a lot, so far it just did not make sense to have a big closet (since moving with a closte is everything but fun…).

My dream is this:

Reality however, looks different. I think that as soon, as I will move somewhere and plan to stay for at least a few years, I will get a PAX closet from Ikea. I think it is a brilliant system, which you can optimize for your individual needs. Also, you can always add additional parts.

On the ikea website you can plan your own PAX closet. Quiet some fun.

Here some impressions of PAX closets:

Maybe I will do one of my next posts about how to organize a closet?

Do you guys have ideas?

Love it!

One day I will live in Amsterdam <3 I think it is one of the prettiest cities ever!
I love Holland for several reasons. Here are a few
Openness and directness of Dutch people
Dutch people are very helpful and welcoming
The importance Dutch people put on a balance between work and social life
Even big cities (like Amsterdam) seem cozy due to the typical Dutch architecture
So many cute cafés
You cycle everywhere
Flowers (says it all)
The way people decorate their homes and their willingness to show it to everyone by having the biggest windows you can imagine.
Last but not least: My boyfriend is Dutch  ;)

I noticed that recently a lot of people were posting these kind of plants. I think the shape makes it look extraordinary and it surely is a highlight in every room!
